Name: Sheep Dip
Batch No.: N/A
Bottle Size: 3cl

Taste: Creamy yet light, malty
Finish: Warm, medium, slightly dry
I’m not usually a big of blends to be honest, but given it’s reputation I thought Sheep Dip was worth a go. I found it to be subtle on the nose with some sweetness followed by a slight saltiness and a final citrus hint. Onto the palate it has a fair body giving a creamy feel but nothing too rich, it is still quite light actually. There is an initial sweet note that quickly gives way to the malt. It has a warm but slightly dry, medium length finish to it.
As with most blends I have tried, it lacks the complexity that I look for in a whisky. I known that is kind of the point to them, an easy drink dram and everything, but this just re-enforces my belief that blends are not for me.
